Jill Torberson, mixed media artist, has turned a lifelong fascination with “garbage” and surplus materials into a unique form of expression. Deconstruction plays a large role in her design concepts. Jill sees interest in the inner workings of the machinery of our lives, be it our household objects, or the heavy equipment used to build our cities and farms. She transforms these objects into smaller pieces, and reconstructs the pieces into objects that focus on form over function. |
